Our packaging is made from recycled fibres.
Where possible we try to source materials local to the factories where the shoes are produced - minimizing on transportation & reducing greenhouse gasses.
During transit we place a Nano Charcoal (rather than silica gel) moisture-absorbing sachet in each shoebox, which can be used as a fertilizer.
Our tissue wrapping paper is made from 100% recycled fibres. No bleech was used.
LINING & SOCK LINING
Our footwear uses fabric linings and top socks made from hi-tech material containing bamboo charcoal.
This provides many benefits for the wearer - bamboo charcoal resists bacteria thus reducing odour & fungal infections.
It is also moisture absorbing and has good thermal insulation properties.
NATURAL CREPE SOLES
Crepe rubber is a natural product that comes from the sap of Lactae Meva rubber trees.
After 5 years, these sustainable trees which grow on plantations are tapped for their rubber.
The liquid which is collected is called latex.
This thick, viscous liquid is then cured, molded, cut into shape, then attached to our shoes for outsoles.
UPPERS
Leather uppers are tanned with vegetable oil reducing the chemical content which is better for our environment.
FOOTBED
Our eco-friendly footbed is made from natural coconut matting & provides a comfortable platform for the wearer.
